The shop sits inside the historic Bordallo Pinheiro factory, where ceramics have been produced since 1884. Rafael Bordalo Pinheiro founded the factory with a vision of reinventing Portuguese pottery through humour, nature and unconventional forms.

Today, the factory is still the perfect place to experience his legacy. It's worth visiting even if you're not planning to buy anything, just to admire the extraordinary collection of handmade ceramics, from cabbage-leaf tableware and watermelon plates to giant ceramic lobsters and butterfly vases created in collaboration with Claudia Schiffer.

Beyond the main collection, there is also an outlet section and a selection of unique designer pieces and artefacts that you won't find elsewhere.
